Since 1994, Target Plant Hire has been a trusted name in the construction and plant hire industry. Proudly family-owned, we’ve supported hundreds of projects across Cape Town’s South Peninsula and surrounds. In 2024, we expanded our services to include a full Civil Construction division, positioning us to serve a broader range of clients — from homeowners to commercial developers.

Our story

Founded in Cape Town’s Deep South, Target Plant Hire was established to meet the growing demand for plant hire in the local building industry. Over the years, we’ve grown alongside the region’s expanding construction sector. In 2024, we expanded into civil construction under the leadership of Nathan Botha, Managing Director & Partner, alongside Josh de Hutton and Adrian de Hutton, who continue to uphold the family values that shaped the business.
